Remember Michael Jackson’s Bad video? The video taken at the Brooklyn New York Subway station? The said station will be undergoing renovation to pay tribute to one of Hollywood’s greatest artist, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

City Councilwoman Letitia James proposed a memorandum to change the name of the station from Hoyt-Schermerhorn Station to something after Michael Jackson’s name. However, due to certain policies by MTA, no stations can be named by a person.

The Village Voice reported that the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership will not change the name but instead come up with a memorial mural at one of the walls of the said station. I would suggest coming up with a mural made of stainless steel drums. This way, its classic and rust free!
