“I like to watch my performances sometimes. I’m always trying to improve on choreography and the stage shows. I like to watch the lighting. I often argue with my lighting designer on the show; as much as I like to light the show for the room, it’s important to light the show and design the sound for YouTube.” she told Newsweek.
“I like it to be moody. I like it to evoke an idea more than light my face. It’s not about what you see. It’s about what you don’t see, and sometimes that vacant space can be very scary. In truth, lots of my fans can’t make it to my shows in Israel or Germany or in Paris, so they go online to watch them.” she continue.

Last Summer, Mariah took the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California to pay tribute to Michael Jackson by singing the hit single I’ll be there.
As the people was not so please in hearing those off notes, Mariah grab her computer and twitted her disappointment on her performance.
“Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him (Michael) there in front of me,” she wrote at the time.
And now, after realizing that she should’ve not done the explaining, Mariah once again grabbed her laptop and said:
“I regret sending that message but I was very emotional and I wasn’t happy with my performance,” the “Obsessed” singer said this week. “But we all did our best to give Michael the send off he deserves. I just forgot the world could read that. I thought I was just talking to my friends. I shouldn’t have done that because that was really only meant for Michael. That was about him.
“It was difficult just to get through the song because I feel as if I have been listening to Michael Jackson’s music my whole life,” Mariah added. When I was a little kid I used to sing all his songs. The whole world suffered a huge loss. The whole world is going to feel this forever. I feel myself blessed to have known him, to have performed with him several times and to have sung at his memorial.”
