Spotted in her Alma Mater – Checotah high School, Carrie Underwood brings back with some massive donation early today.
The American Idol Singer went back to her high school and donated over $117,000 Musical Instruments with the help of her organizations C.A.T.S. Foundation and ACM Lifting Lives organization.
When Carrie was on-stage, she gave tribute to her teacher who as per the singer gave her the chance to perform: “Mrs. Cooper gave me my first chance to perform on stage. The music program is so important. … My career has given me this opportunity to give back.”
“Carrie told me backstage that she’s never been so nervous. She said that she can perform in front of thousands of people, but this program is very important to her. Our band program is both very good and very competitive. This gift has been in the works for months.” told by Principal Terry.
Carrie Underwood could be the best American Idol winner that the reality show has ever produced.
Last Friday, Carrie was spotted at the Salute to the Troops concert held at the Division Parade Field at Fr. Campbell, Kentucky.
The American Idol singer sings her heart for the US Troops while wearing a white and brown sleeveless dress. She happily chatted with the servicemen and women after her performances.
