The most awaited event in the world of fashion is finally here! Spring Summer 2010 Collections are set to hit the runway as New York Fashion Week Shows starts tomorrow.

Just late last night, a commencement program was opened by Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the Damrosch Park within the Lincoln Center complex. This year’s Spring Summer collection will be rackmounted in Lincoln Center instead of the usual Bryant Park.

“Starting tomorrow, one of the world’s most eye-catching events comes to one of the world’s greatest cultural institutions, as we kick off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.” said Mayor Bloomberg as he opened the event last night.

“For years, the famed fashion tents have drawn people from all over the world to New York City, and the buzz is even greater this year with it debuting at its new home at Lincoln Center.”

With what happened to Alexander McQueen, Tyra Banks have come up with a photo shoot tribute to the great designer after her signing up again to her modeling agency.

McQueen is considered to be a Fashion Royalty. This is actually their inspiration in coming in setting up a concept of the photo shoot with Vogue’s Editor and now an American Next Top Model judge, Andre Leon Talley.

“I wanted to do a photo shoot decked out in H2T McQueen. McQueen was considered royalty in the fashion community. I feel like a queen whenever I wear his clothes (especially the stunning blue dress I wore for this shoot)!… I would like to think that he would have loved these photos.”

I may say that photo shoot may look stunning but seriously, Andre needs to get hold of a top rated diet pill. He always dress like a Valedictorian costume whenever I see him out on a picture.

Showing off her beautiful figure, Doutzen Kroes joined the team of Numero Tokyo Magazine for their May 2010 issue.

The Victoria’s Secret model was seen in a sexy alluring black leather ensemble as she was photographed by Alexi Lubomirski.

Doutzen was last seen in Prada’s Runway Show last February for the Paris Fashion Week. Since then, she kept herself from some other appointments aside from the New York’s Premiere of the Runway last month.

Just after giving birth to her first child, Gisele Bundchen was spotted in Brentwood, California doing some post pregnancy workout last Friday.

Wearing a pair of black pants, a shirt, and a pair of trainers, the supermodel keeps on walking down the street while listening to some music to keep her mind off some worries.

“I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.” Gisele told Vogue about staying fit.

“I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week.” she added.

How young is she?

Alessandra Ambrosio did a great job in maintaining her shape after giving birth with her daughter. “Last year, because I had a baby and I had to lose pounds, I did a lot of cardio. After I gave birth, my diet was a very healthy diet, like no sugar, no bread. But now, I am just eating whatever.”

“I’m working out to prepare for the show because it’s our biggest show of the year. I’m trying to work out four days a week.” she added

Victoria’s Secret will be taped tomorrow in November 12 in New York City and will be shown on CBS on December 1 at 10PM.

After the New York scene on the runway, London is kicking off for their moment on the fashion week.

In related news, Naomi has been very vocal to press that she feels that the Fashion Industry is not willing to hire black models anymore.

“The only time they care about black models is in February because it is Black History Month. Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington would go to big designers and say, ‘If you don’t pick Naomi to be in your show, then I don’t want to be in it.’ That’s how I got Prada and Helmut Lang. The only reason I got the cover of French Vogue was because Yves Saint Laurent called up and told them he’d pull his ads if they didn’t. So of course I got the cover.”

I would never go on some crazy fad diet or eat anything weird to get thinner- it’s just not good for your body.”

Victoria’s Secret is coming up with their latest catalogues and they have chosen St. Barths as the place to shoot their lovely models wearing their new collection.

On the other hand, Victoria’s Secret will be launching a cheaper line on September wherein shoppers can get an everyday wear for $29.50 and another collection under Pink where you can get two bras for $32.
