Following his statement on his blog, Kanye West talked about what happened on the VMA at Jay Leno’s interview on his primetime show. He told Jay that he was so hurt when her mother passed away last 2007 and that’s the main cause why he stood up and jump on the stage to steal Taylor Swift’s moment.

“You know, I deal with hurt,” said West. “And you know, so many celebrities, they never take time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really-you know, just music after music and tour after tour.”

“I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period,” he went on. “But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with. “

“And if there’s anything I could do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone, I’d like-you know, I want to live this thing. It’s hard sometimes.”

“Just dealing with the fact that I hurt someone or took anything away, you know, from a talented artist or from anyone, because I only wanted to help people,” he said. “My entire life, I’ve only wanted to give and do something that I felt was right. And I immediately knew in the situation that it was wrong, and it wasn’t a spectacle or just — you know, it’s actually someone’s emotions, you know, that I stepped on. And it was very — it was just — it was rude, period. And, you know, I’d like to be able to apologize to her in person. And I wanted to….” he said.

Jay asked Kanye on when did he realize that he have done wrong: “As soon as I gave the mic back to her and she didn’t keep going.” Kanye answered.

After Beyonce accepted her award for the Video Music Award of the Year, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys took the stage and sings Empire State of Mind. Love how the two sing the song very New Yorky.

There’s too much going on at the MTV Awards wherein a lil mama braves the stage and joined the two in posing at the end of their performance.

The biggest surprised last night is Pink’s number wherein she had to do some trapeze while singing Sober live.

After Madonna just gave out her speech of memories with Michael, a group of dancers hit the stage and try to move like Michael Jackson. At the latter part, Janet Jackson dances the night away with his brother.

Just right after making a scene last night at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, Kanye West is out in the public again but this time to apologize to Taylor Swift.

Kanye West wrote something on his blog and said sorry to Taylor Swift.

“I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom [Andrea]. I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she’s in the bleachers! I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!”

“Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade!!! I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down!!!!! I’m sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world!!!! Everybody wanna booooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! No disrespect but we watchin’ the show at the cribe right now cause…. Well you know!!!! I’m still happy for Taylor!!!! Boooyaawww!!!! You are very talented!!!!! I gave my awards to Outkast when they deserved it over me… That’s what it is!!!! I’m not crazy yall, I’m just real. Sorry for that!!! And with the little issue involving her, Kanye West and Taylor Swift, Beyonce was so nice in giving Taylor her moment back on stage after she accepted her award for Video Music Award of the year.
