Trying to live like a normal tourist, Emma Watson was spotted early this week in West Village New York City hailing a cab for a ride.

The young Harry Potter star who is sporting a new do and currently residing in the US to attend school at Brown University is having a time of her life in the Big City to promote her upcoming film, Harry Potter – Deathly Hallows Part 1.

She also update her fans using her Twitter and Facebook account about the promos of the said film

“Hello New York! In the Big Apple doing some press for Deathly Hallows Part 1. It’s going to be a busy week… Em x” she twitted.

On her facebook: “After saying I’d keep it interesting I’ve now neglected you all for a week! So, at the moment I’m in New York, doing some press for Deathly Hallows Part 1 before university starts again in the autumn. Lots of things going on – it’s been a busy summer! I’ll be back on here soon, love Emma x”
