Finally, after months of delay on releasing the verdict for ‘Lil Wayne’s 2007 Gun case, the singer will now be detained in New York City’s Rikers Island.

As per the verdict, Dwayne Carter aka ‘Lil Wayne could get out from jail in 8 months if seen any good behavior. Otherwise, he will be in prison for one year.

The sentencing of the rapper’s case was delayed last time due to Dental Surgery and another time due to Court Fire.

The rapper was hand cuffed as he was escorted to start the serving the sentence.
