Naomi Campbell at London Fashion Week

Sep 21, 2009 Author: | Filed under: Fashion, Models, Naomi Campbell

After the New York scene on the runway, London is kicking off for their moment on the fashion week.

Just this Sunday, Naomi Campbell graces the cat walk and took part on the 25th Anniversary of London Fashion Week and struts her self down for Issa Spring 2010 collection.

In related news, Naomi has been very vocal to press that she feels that the Fashion Industry is not willing to hire black models anymore.

“The only time they care about black models is in February because it is Black History Month. Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington would go to big designers and say, ‘If you don’t pick Naomi to be in your show, then I don’t want to be in it.’ That’s how I got Prada and Helmut Lang. The only reason I got the cover of French Vogue was because Yves Saint Laurent called up and told them he’d pull his ads if they didn’t. So of course I got the cover.”
