Charlie Ewins and Leon Sesay claimed that they found a memory stick full of photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton on vacation in a gutter. As the UK Tabloid found out about it, they’ve offered the two with $40,000.

Thinking that they can actually level up the price, Ewins & Sesay asks to double the amount but much to their dismay, The Sun reported the thieves to the policemen.

“You are essentially fools for whom things have spiralled out of control,” as per the legal counsel.

The two were sentenced with 100 hours of community service and $200 in court fees.
